The JK Lange Hoist-A-Top is a great addition to the Jeep lover that chooses to go topless. The automatic lift is powerful and well built. The design and assembly of the hoist was easy to put together and with a Freedom top, all 3 pieces can be put together and lifted to sit above your ride.
I would recommend that the installation of the power hoist correctly should be done by 2 people. The only negative that I’ve found is that the brace that lifts the top when elevated without the top is unbalanced and tends to hang lower than expected or desired.
Overall, this is a good piece of equipment that once installed only takes about 10 mins for 1 person to remove and lift their top off for fun in the sun of riding topless in their Jeep. Worth every penny spent.
