Corvette-Powered Gladiator 6×6

Corvette-Powered Gladiator 6x6

The Jeep Gladiator is already a pretty badass-looking machine that is highly capable, but what if you want it to look even more menacing and make it even more capable of pulverizing any obstacle in its path? Well, then you should get in touch with the people at SoFlo Jeeps. They’ve taken the imposing Gladiator and jumped on the 6×6 off-roader trend, but instead of just adding another axle and another pair of wheels, the company’s latest project is a totally custom creation with only the removable doors remaining from the original bodywork. And unlike many other conversions, SoFlo says that its 6×6 isn’t just for show either.

The truck is called the SF 6x6G and is a genuine six-wheel-drive with a nine-inch differential to make it brilliant off-road. Aiding these components are other enhancements like a five-inch lift kit with Falcon shocks and up to 14 inches of suspension travel for each axle. The 6x6G can also tow up to 12,000 pounds behind it. In addition, you can add a 6.3-liter LS3 V8 under the hood if the standard motor’s 300 horsepower output is insufficient. That power is transmitted to the road via six 38-inch tires that are 15.5 inches wide. A Falcon steering stabilizer helps keep the monstrous machine in line on the road.

Aesthetic changes are just as extensive, with a completely new body featuring custom fenders and a steel bumper with a winch. There’s also a custom roll cage, LED headlights with color-changing halo running lights, and light bars throughout the interior and undercarriage. Power side steps make access to the retrimmed interior easy, with that interior boasting weather-resistant leather upholstery. As a final touch, the body has been covered in 20 gallons of a three-part epoxy coating that is mixed with Kevlar fibers to create a protective finish that is a sixteenth of an inch thick. As you can imagine, all of this doesn’t come cheap, as the vehicle starts at $139,000 with the LS3 motor option alone adding a further $30k to that sticker price.
