As Jeep owners, our need to customize and personalize our Jeeps is an addiction. That is why I turned to Roadwire leather seats for new replacement leather seats when my factory leather/vinyl started to crack and tear. I was lucky enough to secure both front and rear seat replacements as part of a sponsorship dealWe wanted to upgrade our seats in Project JKU. We wanted to bring an additional accent with black seats and red stitching and a red logo.
Then the seats arrived they were shipped in a box, nicely packed and nothing special stood out, except the overwhelming sweet smell of new leather seats. It’s been nearly 6 months since we received them, and 3 months since they were installed and that smell is still there. It is amazing!!!!
The seats themselves were installed by Trinity Accessories in Dallas, TX as Roadwire requires professional installs to ensure their product is installed properly to reflect their high standards as a brand. Comfort is critical and Roadwire delivers on every aspect of this element. The seats have at least an extra inch of padding and don’t sag or wrinkle the way the factory seats did. Next, safety is important and Roadwire checks this off their list with their tear-away seams for the side impact airbags. RoadWire Interiors Leather Seats ultimately bring a level of comfort and safety that did not disappoint with our build.
All aspects of the process and craftsmanship was covered for the most part, but there is one area that we would like to see Roadwire tighten up their design. On the backseat cover the backside has a few points where the leather bunches up and isn’t as tight as it could be. It is primarily esthetic as it doesn’t look attached, although it is.
