The Powertrax Lock Right Locker is a basic locking differential that provides excellent traction when off-road for a very affordable price. Since it is a “lunchbox” style locker it installs in your existing carrier replacing your spider gears which makes installation pretty simple with basic tools. It made a huge difference in my JKU’s off-roading capabilities when added to my front differential.
It’s not selectable so you have to get used to the quirks of a full time locker and the clicking noises they make when turning. They aren’t as strong as a full-carrier locker but I haven’t had any issues after having it for over a year.
It’s the least expensive way to have a functional locker that makes a huge difference when off-road.
