Delivery day is always an exciting time when we are modifying @projectjku. So, when the Mammoth 3.5 inch lift arrived quickly we were anxious to get it unboxed and installed. When we torn down and began the unboxing, I found the 4 Skyjacker 8000 shocks that well individually packaged, 2 front & 2 rear coil springs and a smaller box of parts to finish off the install. Of course, once that was completed, the excitement of lifting my build took over and arranged some time to install.
MAMMOTH 3.5 INCH LIFT INSTALL
Arriving at install day, I had the help of 2 of my friends and took about 4 hours to tear down and upgrade to the new Mammoth 3.5″ lift. Depending on your current build, it could take a little less or more time depending on the help you have and existing MODs on your wrangler. We first jacked up the build and ensured it was secure before we removed the front wheels, shocks, factory coil springs and existing 2″ puck lift. When installing the new lift it was apparent that the coil springs were extremely solid and well built when compared to the factory coil springs. The Skyjacker 8000 shocks bring the additional comfort and stability to the ride that I wasn’t experiencing with my Rancho shocks. The relocation brake line bracket in the rear is a must install part of this lift, but would also recommend adding one for the front as well.
Overall, the Mammoth 3.5″ lift is a steal for the price, provides the height I wanted and clearance necessary to run my new ProComp XTREME MT2 35’s, offers a softer ride with the Skyjacker shocks and finally looks amazing! The lift both on and off road has handled beautifully while exploring which is a peace of mind for the investment both in time and money!

Skyjacker Nitro 8000. The included Skyjacker Nitro 8000 shocks are perfect for rugged terrain or smooth street use. They are 150 PSI nitrogen gas pressurized and feature multi-stage velocity sensitive valving, twin tube construction, and bonded iron pistons. This design provides better handling, improved stability, and maximum comfort on and off road.
Mammoth 4×4 Coil Springs. The included Mammoth 4×4 coil springs are shot peen harden to increase tensile strength for a stronger longer lasting spring. Every Mammoth 4×4 spring is cycled, set and spring rate verified, so you get the expected ride height right out of the box with no settling.
