Jeep Go Topless raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for charity

Go Topless Day 2019

On Saturday, May 18th, 2019, Jeep clubs and organizations around the world celebrated Jeep Go Topless Day® (GTD), sponsored by ExtremeTerrain (XT). By removing their Wrangler tops, each hosted event raised funds for a charity or cause of their choice, with XT matching $500 for each group who raised a minimum of $500.

The results were tremendous, making for the largest GTD ever with 240 registered event hosts around the world including countries like Spain, Hungary, Singapore, and the entire United States! Participants recorded their coverage through social media using the hashtag #JEEPGOTOPLESSDAY and allowing followers a birds-eye-view into GTD event coverage world-wide. $10,000 in prizes were also distributed throughout the day, leaving a few lucky winners with some swag to take home with them. To commemorate the event, XT’s Ryan Huck and Merideth Evasew produced this GTD Recap Throttle Out episode from their day with J.E.E.P. (Jeep Enthusiasts of Eastern PA) highlighting their massive convoy up to the Mountain View Winery in Stroudsburg, PA, as well as some unique vehicle coverage.

Jeep Go Topless Day is great because it combines celebrating the Jeep lifestyle with raising money for a good cause. The local event we were a part of this year had a great turn out and I can’t wait to grow the event to something even bigger next year!
