From pulling the Cree 12 Inch LED Light bar out of the box, you could feel the build quality. From the housing to the hardware, everything felt well constructed and I was confident that it would handle the abuse it was going to endure. After wiring a dedicated fuse and switch to be an addition to several of the other lights on the front I have, turning it on I was pleasantly surprised at all 7200+ lumens coming out of the 24 LED. Having the spot and flood diffusers really helps and adds to the spread of lighting needed for night time trails.
All the good things are great, but I did find that the initial installation was a bit tricky and mounting hardware was a little cramped and hard to access with standard tools. This is going to vary a bit with location of mounting, as well as order of assembly.
Overall, having 65w floods/spots Windshield mounts already installed, I opted for mounting the 12in bar on the fair lead to fill in some dark space and keep ground level well lit for those night trails. Slightly concerned about the location with the amount I use the front bumper and winch. However with the mounting points being well placed and the bar itself being tough as nails, I went with it. It has taken several hits and a fair amount of punishment and still looks brand new. I am very pleased and would recommend this to anyone.
